At tonight’s meeting of Clonmel Borough Council the following Notices of Motion in the name of Cllr Pat English were accepted:
“That a surveillance camera be installed at the Poppyfield Roundabout in an effort to prevent further burglaries in the area”
“That Clonmel Borough Council request that the Minister for Education and Skills, Ruairi Quinn to immediately provide funding for a new school for the pupils and teachers of the Gaelscoil, Chluain Meala. In view of the fact that this Gaelscoil has been waiting 18 years for a new school.”
