At tonight’s meeting of Clonmel Borough Council Cllr Billy Shoer put forward the following Notices of Motion:

 

Notice of Motion (3134):

“That the pot holes outside House No’s 64/65 Highfield Grove be filled in as soon as possible”

 

Borough Engineer’s Report in response:

“Repairs have been carried out on the roadway outside House No’s 64/65 Highfield Grove”.

Notice of Motion (3135):

“That the footpath and roadway be reinstated outside House No. 1 St Mary’s Place.  The ESB replaced a damaged pole there and never reinstated the road/footpath”.

Borough Engineer’s Report in response:

“The road/footpath at this location has been examined and the matter will be referred to the ESB for their immediate attention”.


At tonight’s meeting of Clonmel Borough Council Cllr Pat English put forward the following Notice of Motion:

 

“That Clonmel Borough Council removes the overgrowth along the bank of the river between the Dog Track and Dunne’s Stores on the Waterford Road.

 

 

Borough Engineer’s Report in response:

“The grass verge along the towpath has been cut recently withing the Borough boundary.  Any overgrowth impinging on the towpath will be cut back in the near future.”


At tonight’s meeting of Clonmel Borough Council Cllr Pat English put forward the following Notice of Motion:

 

“That Clonmel Borough Council resurface the Glenagad Road, Old Bridge, Clonmel as existing surface is in very poor condition”

 

 

Borough Engineer’s Report in response:

“The 2012 Roadwork’s Programme, which detailed both roads for resurfacing and footpaths for replacement, was brought before the elected members at the March monthly meeting and adopted.  Glenagad Road was inspected and will be considered for future Roadwork’s Programme, subject to available funding and the approval of elected members.”
